READ: Year-End Bonus & Cash Gift for Government Employees

As per sa DBM’s Budget Circular No. 2016-4 (Updated Rules and Regulations on the Grant of the Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift for FY 2016 and Years Thereafter), all qualified employees of the government, regular, contractual, casual in nature, appointive or elective, full-time or part-time is entitled to receive Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift not earlier than November 15 of the current year.

Qualifications

Government employee that is in service since from January 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018, will receive the Year-End Bonus that is equivalent to a 1 month basic salary pay and Cash Gift of P5000.

Sa mga hindi nakakumpleto ng sampung buwan na government service, hindi dapat bumaba sa 4 na buwan na serbisyo upang maging kwalipikado naman sa PRORATED share ng year-end bonus. Halimbawa: Kung ang 1st day of service ay June 1, 2018 at nananatili sa serbisyo hanggang October 31, 2018, makatatanggap sya ng 60% na bonus at Cash gift na P3,000. Ang mga na hire naman ng June 4, 2018 ay makatatanggap lang ng 50% dahil kinulang sila ng tatlong araw para makumpleto ang 5 months. Kung ang first day of service ay August 1, 2018 halimabawa, walang aasahang YEB dahil kulang na sila sa 4-month service requirement, tanging P2000 na cash gift na lamang ang kanilang aasahang matatanggap.
